Material: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is the most widespread and strong one.
Thickness / weight: Agricultural / irrigation ponds will have thicknesses of 500 micron (or so) or more.
Standards & durability: Watch for the unusual features of UV stabilisation, chemical resistance, good resistance to puncture & tear, Marvin 15351:2015 etc.

Singhal 300 Micron HDPE Pond Liner Sheet Geomembrane: Like 300 um- same, at smaller scale the choice is good, and a good brand.
4K Agro 300 Micron HDPE Pond Liner/sheet (8ft x 10ft): Pre-cut, 8x10ft; fine when you have a small pond, but large pond would require large roll or welded sheet.
BIO Blooms Agro India 300 Micron HDPE Pond Liner (8ft x 10ft): This is another similar type.
Rubber Heavy Sheet Black 500 GSM Fish/Pond Liner 25 ft x 15 ft: This is a heavier duty rubber sheet (500 GSM) as opposed to HDPE, which is why it may work well in case of more challenging conditions.
The two latter are repeat type varieties; the concept is that they display the range of light to heavy load.
My Suggestion to Your Use Case.
As you are interested in agricultural pond liners and are, I assume, interested in irrigation storage in a farm in the area of Ambala-Haryana, I would suggest:
Use HDPE material instead of a very thin fabric or PVC, because of its resistance to durability, to UV rays, to chemical or soils.
Thickness wanted, in case of budget, and solid ground weakness (rocks, roots), is about 0.5 mm (500 micron) or more. Most of the Indian manufacturers specify 500 um as a standard.
Make sure that you get a supplier with a roll width/length that will fit your pond size (fewer seams).
Request: data sheet thickness, GSM, tensile / puncture strength, standard compliance (e.g., IS 15351: 2015) etc.
Request any assistance in the installation (welding seams, anchoring, underlay where necessary) – even a good liner will not work with shoddy work.
Check clearing to your area, shipping/roll processing expense, custom sizes, lead-time.
In case of budget vs lifetime, cheaper thinner liners work well in short-term or lightly used ponds, but in farm pond, you probably would need a stronger one to reduce the number of replacement.
